Two coves east of Marinha, Albandeira does the same geology with a fraction of the audience: a pocket beach split by a rock spur, and — a three-minute path east along the cliff — the Arco de Albandeira, a freestanding stone bridge stepping off the coast into clear water.
The beach itself is small and stony-sanded, good for a sheltered swim and better for snorkelling around the spur; the arch is the real destination, photographed from the cliff or, in calm seas, swum and paddled through by kayakers working the coast. A seasonal beach café and modest parking complete a deliberately low-key package.
At sunset the arch frames the light — the connoisseur's end to a Benagil day.
