NOS Primavera Sound 2026, also listed as Primavera Sound Porto, is held from 11 to 14 June 2026 at Parque da Cidade in Porto. The bill is led by The xx, Gorillaz and Massive Attack, and around 55 artists are programmed across four days. General admission is priced at €180 and VIP at €275, plus booking fees. Below, the dates, lineup, tickets and travel options are set out.
When and where
The 13th edition is held over four days, from Thursday 11 to Sunday 14 June 2026. The venue is Parque da Cidade, a large urban park on Porto’s western edge, set between Avenida da Boavista and the Matosinhos seafront. Because the stages are kept clustered, movement between performances is straightforward, and the park benefits from ocean breezes during the warmer afternoons.

Lineup 2026
The 2026 programme combines international headliners with indie, electronic and Portuguese acts. Alongside The xx, Gorillaz and Massive Attack, the bill includes IDLES, Big Thief, Ethel Cain, Bad Gyal, JADE, KNEECAP, Slowdive, Sudan Archives, Panda Bear, Viagra Boys, Yard Act, Black Country New Road, Criolo and Gisela João. In addition, a closing Sunday session is held on 14 June, with Peggy Gou, Dixon, Xinobi and SuM.
The full lineup and the day-by-day splits are published on the official site, and set times are released through the festival app shortly before each day. Therefore, the schedule should be checked close to the event, since changes can be made by the organisers.
Tickets
Tickets are sold through Fever. General admission is priced at €180 and VIP at €275, both plus booking fees. Single-day tickets are also offered for some days, while full-festival passes cover all four. Because availability changes quickly during festival week, the official tickets page should be checked before travel. Notably, entry is free for children up to and including 9 years old.
How to get to Parque da Cidade
Most international visitors arrive through Porto Airport (OPO), which is connected by direct flights from across Europe and North America. From the airport, the park is reached by road in about 20–30 minutes, depending on traffic. In the city, the metro, buses and taxis serve the area around Parque da Cidade, and local buses run along the park’s perimeter.
However, three points are worth planning in advance for festival days:
- Airport to hotel. Arrival days are busy, and queues build at the taxi rank. A private transfer is fixed in advance, so the price and the pickup time are known.
- Venue to hotel after the last set. The festival finishes late, when public transport is reduced. Therefore, a return transfer removes the wait at the end of the night.
- Groups and luggage. For groups, a single private vehicle is usually simpler than splitting across taxis or metro, especially with festival crowds.

Where to stay
Two areas are usually favoured. First, Boavista and the Foz district are close to the park, so journeys to and from the festival are short. Alternatively, central Porto (Baixa and Cedofeita) is chosen for its restaurants and nightlife, although the venue is then a longer ride away. Because festival weekends fill quickly, accommodation should be booked early.
